Explore the magnificent ancient city with your professional licensed guide and discover its monumental streets, theaters, temples, libraries and early Christian heritage.
Continue to the Basilica of St. John, built over the traditional burial site of the Apostle John.
The day is dedicated to understanding Ephesus not only as an extraordinary archaeological site but also as one of the most important centers of early Christianity.
Overnight: Kuşadası / Selçuk area.
Day 2 — Smyrna & Pergamon
After breakfast, travel north toward Smyrna, ancient İzmir.
Visit the Ancient Agora of Smyrna and learn about the city's history and its Christian community during the Roman period.
Continue to Pergamon, one of the most spectacular ancient cities in Western Türkiye.
Explore the Pergamon Acropolis, dramatically positioned on the hillside above the modern town.
Your guide will explain the city's political, cultural and religious importance and its connection with the message to the church of Pergamon in Revelation.
Overnight: Bergama / İzmir area.
Day 3 — Thyatira & Sardis
After breakfast, continue to Thyatira, modern-day Akhisar.
Thyatira was an important commercial city in antiquity and became one of the Christian communities addressed in Revelation.
Continue south to Sardis, the ancient capital of Lydia.
Explore the spectacular remains of Sardis, including the Temple of Artemis, Roman structures and the remarkably preserved ancient synagogue.
This day brings together Lydian, Roman and early Christian history in two fascinating locations.
Overnight: Salihli / Sardis area.
Day 4 — Philadelphia & Laodicea
After breakfast, continue to Philadelphia, modern-day Alaşehir.
Visit the remaining ancient structures and learn about the Christian community praised in the Book of Revelation.
Continue toward Laodicea, one of the most important cities of the Lycus Valley.
Explore the extensive archaeological remains and discover the historical background of the Laodicean Christian community.
In the afternoon, continue to the Pamukkale area.
If time and site conditions permit, enjoy a short visit to the famous white travertine terraces.

Day 5 — Hierapolis & Return to Kuşadası
After breakfast, visit Hierapolis, the ancient city located above Pamukkale.
Explore its monumental streets, theater, necropolis and other Roman remains.
Although Hierapolis is not one of the Seven Churches itself, it provides an excellent historical addition to the final day of the journey and complements the visit to nearby Laodicea.
After the visit, begin your return journey toward Kuşadası, Selçuk or İzmir.
Your private Seven Churches journey ends with hotel drop-off or transfer to your preferred departure point.
